Company History A Family Legacy - Tradition The Waldo family has a legacy of owning and operating businesses that started in the late 70’s by Ray Waldo. Deciding to take his families future in his own hands he started providing programming and setup services to companies in and around the Kansas City Missouri area. Within a few years the service company turned into a manufacturing operation with several employees, including Rays’ sons Dennis and Daniel Waldo. The company grew into a multi-million dollar a year corporation and by the late 90’s Ray and Daniel decided to retire and sold the company to Dennis Waldo. Within a few years Dennis brought on board the third generation, his sons’ Chad and Jason Waldo and his daughter Amie Waldo. During this time Dennis’s wife Vicki had successfully owned and operated three businesses in the Kansas City area. MRI, The Bath House and the Whistle Stop Coffee shop were all successes by any measure. Vicki managed to startup and run all three, selling each in the end for a profit. Not wanting to be out done by the rest of his family Chad Waldo decided it was time he start his own company, and in late December of 2006 he started Nu-Forge Tool LLC.
